Since inception JKYC has given more emphasis in sustainable agricultural practices. Pisciculture is one of the most profitable economic ventures which have not been popularized properly in the rural pockets. In our view it is not eco-friendly but also profitable income generating activities. That’s why JKYC has been taken composite pisciculture activities on demonstration basis especially for the motivation of local youths to create self employment opportunity. During the period JKYC has taken 03 nos. of farm pond on lease basis for cultivation of pisciculture on productive purpose. About 22 quintals of fish has been generated by cultivation of pisciculture activities.
