JAYA KISHAN YOUTH CLUB came into existence in the year 1982-83 in a remote and inaccessible village like Jankiagarh Kanas Block of Puri district by a group of like minded and committed youth group of the villages of the locality.
The youth group united under the banner of the team “Development” by their own Participation in organizing the group who are deprived, vulnerable and disadvantaged of minimum needs and facilities like: – shelter, food, drinking water, education, communication, health, Sanitation etc. with strong promising visions to plan and execute the development projects either sponsored by the Government or the contribution made by the target groups in addressing their any problems.
First of all they took their initiations in organizing and strengthening people’s organizations who were really belong to disadvantage sections of the society, since they were concerned and experienced to the various existing problems and issues.
Finally the dreams of the local youths came into floor, when it was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at Puri during the period 1982 with people’s co-operation and encouragement. During the period it has been diversified in implementing various needs and issue based rural development activities.
It is also registered under the FCR Act of 1976 with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi in the year 1994 to widen its development activities in mobilizing support from aboard.
