Integrated Rehabiliation Centre For Addicts

Since inception JAYA KISHAN YOUTH CLUB has been committed to ensure life opportunities for the drug addicts and alcoholics. Which ultimately laid the stepping stones for the foundation of its Drug Treatment cum Rehabilitation Centre in 1999? The Centre has established at Malud a centrally located place of the Krushnaprasad block. The very objective of the centre is to motivate the addicted patients for detoxified through regular counseling, treatment and yoga therapy, so that the addicted people can start his/her life newly in the society having social acceptance

This is a 15 bedded Detoxification Centre where the clients get admitted for 31 days. 15 staff members of the centre include professionals and Para professionals like Medical officer, Psychologist, Social Workers, Yoga therapist, Peer Educator, Ward boy and Nurses are constantly putting forth their best efforts to bring a positive change in every client’s life. Every patient goes through different phases in detoxification process.

PRIMARY PHASE:

The Drug Treatment cum Rehabilitation centre is in its 23 year of functioning. It provided counseling and detoxification service to more than 4132 addicts & also to their affected family members still to date.

The Ministry of Social justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, has extended support for running of the Centre as well as to address the problems of the most vulnerable segments of the society. During the year 181 nos. of IPD & 408 nos. of OPD patients have been benefited by the Centre.
